The new Winter in Moscow season to cover over 500 venues

The third Winter in Moscow season opens on December 1. As per the tradition, ice rinks, ski, and snow tube tracks will be set up in various areas of Moscow, along with pavilions and street markets offering products made by the city’s brands, as well as other cultural, educational, and charity events, announced Deputy Moscow Mayor Natalya Sergunina.
“The project will cover over 500 venues across the city, located for the most part outside the downtown. Winter programs will be prepared at VDNKh, Moskino Cinema Park, the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve, Gorky Park, Luzhniki Arena and lots of other iconic venues in Moscow. The topic of the season is “The Big City’s Warmth,” says Natalya Sergunina.
The events program will be focused on acts of kindness. Like in the prior years, Houses of Good under the Moscow Helps project will open at Moscow Seasons venues, offering everyone a chance to send a parcel or a postcard to servicemen in the area of the special military operation or to the residents of new and border regions.

Activities and guided tours, New Year invitations and gifts await servicemen’s families.
The City of the Caring charity festival will take place in December, while the Good Christmas Tree charity event will be held for children under the patronage of non-profit organizations in Moscow.

The Journey to Christmas festival is going to be the main event of the winter holidays. Moscow’s district venues and parks will host creative master classes, sports practice sessions and music shows.

Entrepreneurs will be able to join the city’s winter project once again, with multiple participation formats. Brands will get the opportunity, for instance, to present their products in Made in Moscow art pavilions, to become partners of the Moscow Club on Tverskoy Boulevard, or to use their own platforms to offer presentations, master classes, or deals. Applications are now being accepted on the Time for Business Opportunities portal.

32 million Muscovites and tourists attended events of the Winter in Moscow second season, with over 400 venues functioning throughout the mega-city. Many urban spaces have transformed to become not just places for relaxation and entertainment, but good deed hubs. Together, Muscovites collected over 50,000 gifts for servicemen in the area of the special military operation and children in the new regions.
