Sergei Sobyanin: Moscow runs 700 projects to create urban infrastructure
Investors enjoying municipal backing, primarily including land leases for those engaged in large-scale investment projects (LSIPs).

Investors contribute to creation of industrial and urban infrastructure, including trading estates, factories and offices, in the capital; 149 projects worth RUB 323 billion are wrapped up to date, Sergei Sobyanin informs on his Telegram channel.

“For example, 20 companies reside in the Rudnevo industrial park. They are increasing outputs of medical devices, ATMs, drones, capacitors and other high-tech products,” the Moscow Mayor writes.

There are also production facilities, including four high-tech pharmaceutical and medtech companies in the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone, which manufacture goods necessary for the city under offset contracts.

The capital's infrastructure is constantly evolving, growing more advanced and user-friendly as Moscow is running more than 700 related projects; local authorities are also backing investors.

“A key support arrangement for industrial construction is land leases under LSIPs,” adds Sergei Sobyanin.

On top of that, last year they introduced a green corridor modality for businesses to go through administrative procedures 50 per cent faster; about 100 factories will be built ahead of schedule as a result.
