Sergei Sobyanin: Lost spire returns to Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo estate’s greenhouse
When assembled, the 5-meter-long spire weighs about 250 kilograms.

The lost spire was returned to the greenhouse of the Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo estate, as announced by Sergei Sobyanin on his Telegram channel.

“A customer-tailored project was developed to recreate the spire. After that, a specialized workshop manufactured a dome element,” the Moscow Mayor wrote.

The 5-meter-long 250-kilogram spire was first divided into four parts and then assembled like a pyramid.

Now architects are restoring the entire estate complex. The greenhouse is a unique building that has survived from the 18 th — early 19 th centuries. It will be restored to look as it originally did at archival materials and photographs.
