Sergei Sobyanin: Almost 10 million visited the Northern River Station in 4 years

Since the renovation project was completed, almost 10 million people have visited the Northern River Station, and about a million passengers have departed from it to start their journeys, Sergei Sobyanin writes on his Telegram channel.

It opened in 2020 after a major restoration and improvement of the adjacent embankment and park. Since then, its berths have received and sent off cruise ships more than five thousand times.

“The Northern River Station is both a pivotal transport facility and a favorite vacation spot for Muscovites and tourists. It operates all year round. In winter there is a skating rink on the main square and a ski trail with a rental point; in summer there is an open-air cinema theater, outdoor workout grounds, fountains and a lot more,” Moscow Mayor wrote.
